Left Leesville and lost the #10 hwy right away, around and around Fort Polk we went, travelling through the Kisatchie National Forest, finally found Pitken. Gary ,we went through St. Landry Parish next! We crossed the ippississiM River on the same ferry as last Spring,The ferry was called the Feliciana, again no toll, maybe because we are going backwards? Slept at the Wal* Mart in Amite, LA. We like Wal*Marts because there are no alligators, or snakes! Stopped to chat with Jim Canada at a campground we stayed at last Spring, too early in the day, to stay, Talk to y'all next when we reach Alabama!
